way down yonder on the chattahoochee

What do you do when you are über bored at work? You update your sadly neglected blog of course! So seeing as I haven't updated my blog in...let's say a gazillion days (maybe a slight exaggeration), I either 1. have done nothing of great interest in a little while or 2. have been having so much crazy fun 24/7 that I didn't possible have time to update. If you guessed number 1 than congrats, reward yourself kindly for being correct. If you selected number 2, than you lost.
The most recent "of note" activity that I engaged in was a day at the river with some friends. We hiked to the dam, frolicked in the water, napped on the rocks, and did some general exploring. Unfortunately, on our way to the dam we took a bit of a wrong turn and were forced to cross over a deeper part of the river by shimmying across a long pipe reaching the other side. I have no photos to share of this feat, so I am going to have to ask you to picture this. In order to make me seem like less of a wus for not just walking across the pipe I would like the image in your head (regardless of how far from reality this is) as me dangling over a rushing river filled with sharp pointy rocks, at least 50-100 feet in the air, and me of course moving swiftly across with ease and agility as the Mission Impossible music plays in the background (even I'm a little impressed with myself thinking about it). So after I got in that little practice session for going on "The Amazing Race" done with, things were pretty chill (despite someone getting a little sliced on one of the aforementioned pointy rocks and someone else falling down a rather steep and tall cliff whilst exploring in the woods...but, everyone left with 10 fingers and 10 toes so no true harm, right?) We also found a small cave underneath a the waterfall on the dam and that was as you can imagine, pretty awesome.

As a side note, I will be seeing Harry Potter 7:2 in 19 days. Can I get a woop woop?

And one more thing for anybody still reading, I will be updating my blog this weekend for the 4th of July as it is one of my favorite holidays. So, make me feel cool when I look at the stats on my blog by checking back then.
