To start off with, happy 4th of July!!
I'm feeling some blogging writers block right now, but I promised an update so I guess I better think of something. huh? Well it is a little weird that my favorite 4th of July ever actually took place in India almost five years ago. But, who couldn't love a day of cleaning up beaches with the kids from RSO (www.risingstaroutreach.org) in the morning, visiting people in the hospital in the afternoon, and having a bonfire and fireworks on the beach at night. Though I must admit, even though today isn't quite over yet, it's a coming in pretty close. We have been at the lake all weekend and the rest of the extended fam came up for Monday. We have eaten good food, swam in the lake, gone out on the boat, and engaged in general merriment.
Rejoice! For we live in a wonderful country. Thank you July fourth for reminding us that we live in such a FANTASTIC place :)
