Honestly can't believe that I have been here for a whole week and at the same time I feel like I have been here for forever. But, here a few things that I have learned about Paris so far...
1. bring an umbrella. apparently the sun doesn't shine in Paris in the winter
2. a map is a necessity at all times. I probably spend about 60% of my time lost or just blindly following other people...who are sometimes lost
3. treat yourself to something absolutely delicious everyday...you're in Paris. why not?
4. apple cider is an alcoholic drink here...my roommate learned that the hard way. hahahaha. don't worry she realized before she drank too much. even the program director got a good laugh out of that one.
5. Sometimes its ok to just chill in a cafe for the afternoon, sipping hot chocolate and reading. You don't have to go go go all the time when you are going to be here for 3 months.
Well...you probably wan't to see some pictures huh? Theses are pretty much all the same ones from facebook, but maybe I can give some better commentary on them here.

this is the Hotel de Ville. One of my classes is Paris Walks, which pretty much just gets us to go to various places around the city and has us do little mini readings on them so we know what we are seein. |

Notre Dame...I hate that I think of that horrible Disney movie when I see this place. Haha |

In this picture is Me, Sydney, McCall, Rebecca, Christina, Brooke, Hilary, and Phoebe. Love every single one of um. So lucky to have such a perfect group to enjoy such an incredible city with. |

this is the Palais du Justice. It's kind of like America's Supreme Court. |
Well, this is basically what I have been up to. I hate to give you a boring play by play of what is going here, but I'm still not quite sure what exactly to post about because there is so much going on and so much that happens in a week (I might have to start posting more!). So really if there is anything that you are interested in hearing about let me know (blog comment, facebook, e-mail...you know where I am) and I would love to post about it!!
paix. amour. et getting lost
