Maybe this doesn't count as my promised weekly update by Sunday, but if I haven't gone to bed yet, isn't it still Sunday? I think so.
This week was crazy and felt like the longest week that I have ever had. I don't ever remember a first week being so long. Maybe it's because I did so much, and yet nothing at all really. I've met some pretty awesome people (holla to any awesome people reading this), and I've enjoyed myself immensely. So here's the low down...
Part 1: Lib Sq.
So this year I am in an apartment (am I really old enough for that?) with 3 other girls, one being my roommate from last year, and two randoms, who I suppose aren't quite so random anymore. The apartment is on its way to wonderfulness, but we are still in the process of decorating.
Part 2: Classes
My classes seem pretty intimidating. I am taking two of my English major classes and an Editing minor class. My lit class seems like it should be, obvs a lot of reading and writing, and also very interesting and a nice step up from my AP English classes in highschool. Although, I think I may have already made everyone in that class hate my by claiming "The Scarlet Letter" to be bad literature in a class discussion. I'll spare you my gripe session on why I hate that book, but I just can't believe anyone who says that they like it. Other than that class, I'm pretty much scared out of my pants for my Writing Literary Criticisms class...yeah I knew it, your pants just got scared off just from reading the title. But, alas...I shall make it through, and with any luck and/or skill I will make it through with an A. Other than that I have Biology, Modern American Usage, French Conversation, & Missionary Preparation.
Part 3: Frands
It is so good to of come back to so many people that I love so much, and to meet so many (a fore mentioned) new awesome people. We have already had hang out time, birthday celebrations, movie nights, sleeping outside together to get parking, a big ice cream party just tonight, and I am sure many things I am forgetting, and even more fantastic things to come.
So psyched for this year. If you're not, what's wrong with you? It's high time you got psyched.
