Now that I have been to Harry Potter World, seen all the movies, and have just now finished reading the seventh book for the second time, I guess it is time to say goodbye to my good pal HP, but saddly it also feels a little like I am saying goodbye to my childhood. I will admit when my 11th birthday rolled around without an owl or Hogwarts teacher showing up at my house I was a little disapointed, and when I went to the last midnight book release I felt a twang of sadness, but donning my Harry Potter Ravenclaw costume for what could potentailly be the last time at the HP 7:2 premier, that was just downrigh depressing.
If you haven't read the books (no no nobody cares if you have seen the movies, read the books.) get to a book store, a library, find a friend I don't care what, but come on, you haven't read the biggest series of the past 2 decades? Get with it. Now if you haven't seen the movies, this is sheer laziness. Shame on you. And if you havn't been to Orlando, Florida's very own Hogwarts, start saving those pennies!
Long Live Harrt Potter
Need a good Potter giggle? Here ya go...
(Ron's haircut, or lack thereof? What were they thinking?)
And, if you haven't seen Potter Puppet Pals, where have you been? Try this little guy on for size...
P.S. If you happen to see a glow-in-the-dark Harry Potter t-shirt anywhere give me a holler. It would be a beautiful addition to my glow-in-the-dark t-shirt collection (I'm really not kidding about this.)
