I feel as though I will be asked several times to evaluate my trip with the exchange group to Switzerland versus the trip that I just took. But honestly, they are incomparable. Both were insanely fun and completely unforgettable. Each of course had their merits and their hmph moments, but one day maybe I will have a third trip to throw into the mix? (Hey mom and dad, Lausanne might want me back next summer.)
After a very fun last two days in Switzerland, involving much frivolity and roaming the beautiful streets of Lausanne to ridiculous hours of the night, I have now moved on to Italy. Very early this morning I took a scenic train ride from Lausanne to Milan (seriously so beautiful that I spent almost the entire three hours staring out the window) to meet up with the fam. and drive to Tuscany. We are staying in a gorgeous house here overlooking miles of vineyards, and picturesque Italian scenery. So remember how I promised more pictures of Switzerland. Well…just kidding. It just seemed weird to take pictures of us just hanging out, so if you are interested in more pics hit me up on facebook. Though, now that I am in Italy doing touristy things with non-natives, pictures are definitely in store.
