I know mother's day is still about 2 months away, but that doesn't mean that I can't take a minute to talk about how fantastic my mother is. I am so grateful that I have not only a mother who I love, but a mother who I like a lot too. I usually find that it's pretty easy to love people, but it's not always as easy to like them. I'm lucky. But, the really cool thing is that I don't only have one mama to look up to, but 3 (well more than that, but 3 main ones, ya know?) Since I recently became an aunt, that means that my big sissy recently became a mommy, and my other sister is having a baby in May. Seeing my sisters take on the mommy roll has been incredible for me to see. I have been saying so many prayers of gratitude to have such incredible women in my life to look up to. Examples of strength, intelligence, and fun. What do people who arn't the baby of the family do? There's a reason when I was little that I would always order the same thing off the menu as my sisters did, I knew they were making good decisions. How easy for me to already have a little bit of a trail made out for my by my mom and sisters, even if I like to forge my own paths sometimes (ok maybe a lot of the time). I still always have someone to help me figure stuff out. Love my mama. Love my sisters. Great people for sure.
peace. love. and moms.
p.s. my dad is really, really great too. (don't worry didn't forget about you papa)
