To start out with...you are not on the wrong blog. This friend was in GREAT need of updating...which apparently came with a new title. I'm sorry. I'm fickle. I know. But this just felt better to me, and I've been wanting to do it for a while. Do it and don't look back. Words to live by, huh?
Anyways...Paris. That's probably what you are here for.
Well this week there was no big trip, or one adventure that stood out above the others, so I will provide a little numbered list of a few things that went down over here in the European P-Town.
1. Some photographers from BYU came to do some publicity photo shoots for my school and to promote the Study Abroad programs. I made it very clear to the photographer that I wanted to see my picture on the byu.edu homepage, and also that I am single so it needs to look really good (these are literally two things that I told him, so I'll keep you posted on what happens with these pictures...but probs don't get too excited.) I also decided during all these photo shoots that being a model seems horribly boring, so I guess I can cross that one off the list (as if my 5'2'' height hadn't already taken care of that for me...)
2. The weather this week was perfection. Blasting sunshine, and mid 60s. Unfortunately we are dropping back down to the 50s and deviating to a measly "partly sunny." But hey, as long as we don't dip back down to the 20s I can survive, and with a smile. :)
3. I went to Pizza Pino this week (everyone raves about this being the best pizza place in Paris...I thought it was pretty good). But the true highlight there was that our waiter had our pizzas made in the shape of a heart. After walking around to several other tables in the restaurant to get the word translated to English, he told us he was being "charming."
4. Can't remember if I mentioned it, but the boyfriend of a girl from our group flew out to Paris to propose to her (bar is set high fellas!). Naturally, we thought there was no better place to throw a bachelorette party for her than in Paris! So we had a party at one of the girls apartments followed by a little French karaoke. It was an absolute blast. Because honestly...we don't usually stay out very late, so it was fun to get the whole group together for a night out. (if my internet works better tomorrow I'll post a vid right HERE of us singing...if not so sorry...for you and me.)

McCall with her fruity mocktail, me with my Diet Coke, and Syd with her hot chocolate. If only you knew how fitting these drinks are to our personalities! |
4. I booked tickets to go to Greece!! I am so excited!!!! We are going to be in Athens for about 3 days so let me know if you have been there and have any advice!! (comment on this post, shoot me and e-mail at danicronquist@yahoo.com, or hit me up on facebook and twitter (cronqie)..I am literally all over the internet...)
paix. amour. et karaoke
